Allan was a police officer who died tragically when his motorcycle collided with the back of a lorry during a practice exercise.
Allan was the much loved husband of Kerrie-Ann, devoted father to Lillie-mae, loving son of Ann and Graham and brother of Andy and Stephen.
He joined the police in 1999 and was a motorcycle officer based in the Area 2 Road Policing Unit at Plant Hill.
I've just found this web site and wanted to leave a message. I think about what happened all the time. It made me realise that life is short and to make the most of it. The last time I spoke to you we were going to meet up for a brew. I believe we will someday. I've been down Ashton for a pint a few times since and when I see people who know you they always have good things in their memories about you. Watch over all your mates in GMP but most of all Kerry and Lillie-mae.
I know how you feel.
I didn't know you Allen but just looking at your picture i can see what a friendly, caring lad you are. I know you will have met up with my Ryan now, tell him how much i miss him please. I know the pain and total desperation your wife and family are going through and the huge void in their lives. Watch over them, your their guardian angel, send them your love and strength to help them through each day.xx
